1 An update consists of one or several simple changes to the main content of a website, such as changes in the text (price changes, adding product features, etc.) or insertion/swapping of pictures within the main content areas of your web pages, which can be performed at one time.
An update does not include alterations to the structure of a web page or modifications of graphics beyond simple resizing. Updates purchased outside of or in addition to one of our hosting plans are priced at $45/hour with a one hour minimum. Contact us for additional information.
2 You can create as many web pages, email accounts, and MySQL databases as you wish—using the hosting control panel shown at right—so long as their total size does not exceed your allotted disk space. We can provide instructions to make MS Outlook retrieve your email, thereby reducing the email left in your hosting account.
3 All hosting accounts include unlimited email forwarding, content filtering, anti-spam. Catch-all email account on request.
4 Customer must supply a valid credit card number to purchase a hosting plan.
Shopping Cart Hosting/Administration
Our shopping carts are based on Zen Cart. Setting up Zen Cart on a host that is not “Zen Cart friendly” could be impossible or prohibitively expensive. Therefore, we prefer to host your shopping cart ourselves—to simplify matters and to hold down our costs and yours. We can purchase a domain and SSL certificate on your behalf, or set up your shopping cart under your existing domain and certificate.
Your shopping cart is administered via the control panel at right. The control panel allows you to add products and their attributes, assign products to categories and sub-categories, change prices, adjust available quantities, run sales, check for orders, facilitate email communication with customers, etc.
Most clients will find they can handle the most common administrative tasks without assistance. If you find that you require assistance with the more technically difficult tasks, we can provide such assistance at our usual rate of $45/hour, or perhaps for a negotiated fixed price.
